Heather Morris, Msc rsLP(C) - Speech-Language Pathologist

Heather provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, B.C. Her primary clinical interest includes working with preschool, school-age children, teenagers and young adults with a focus on the social use of language (pragmatics/discourse), narratives and nonfiction texts, language processing, expressive/receptive language delays, executive functioning and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). 

Heather has completed the Social Thinking™ Level 1a Clinical Training in San Jose, CA and enjoys facilitating social language groups. She has a passion for using the Social Thinking™ approach to understanding the “why” behind the social world. She believes building perspective-taking skills, social awareness, and empathy are key to successful social communication and understanding. Heather has also completed the Advanced Training for "Collaborative & Proactive Solutions" (CPS) Model by Ross Greene. The CPS model is recognized as an empirically-supported, evidence-based treatment that enables individuals to be successful using a non-punitive, non-adversarial, and trauma-responsive approach.

Heather primarily works with students who have social communication deficits, autism spectrum disorder, giftedness and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.  

Heather has published research on the narrative abilities of children with autism and children with specific language impairment (SLI). Further, Heather also conducts research at the Child Language and Cognition Lab at UBC

Erynne Green, Msc rsLP(C) - Speech-Language Pathologist

Erynne provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, B.C. Her primary clinical interests include working with school-age children, teenagers and young adults with a focus on the social use of language (pragmatics/discourse), narratives, expressive/receptive language delays, and executive functioning. Erynne enjoys working as part of a team with families and schools to support learning and development.

In addition to her work with Social Dynamics, Erynne has experience working in public schools and medical settings. She currently works part-time in an outpatient clinic as part of a multi-disciplinary team assessing children with complex developmental concerns.

Anna Rolph, Msc rsLP(C) - Speech-Language Pathologist

Anna is a Ukrainian-born bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. Anna provides therapy in the areas of receptive and expressive language, word-finding, social-relational language, executive functioning, fluency, and speech sound production. Anna’s approach integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to foster her client’s engagement in the therapy process and learning of valuable insights relevant to communication efficacy.

Anna enjoys working with young adults and children of all ages and is inspired by their humour, sincerity, and determination to communicate. She believes in the value of creating a warm and supportive environment for her clients where they are free to take risks and be themselves. She also emphasizes teaching skills in the context of creative, artistic, and meaningful experiences to promote deep learning and generalization of skills. Anna also mentors and coordinates undergraduate volunteers for families who would like to receive additional support.

Yu Cen GAo, MSC RSLP(C) - SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Yu Cen received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. Her primary clinical interests include working with various pediatric speech, language and social communication disorders and delays in preschool and school-age populations. She has experience Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD among other diagnoses.

Yu Cen has valuable experience working in public schools and community settings, using a multi-disciplinary team approach. She values family-centred practice and provides a play-based, child-led therapy approach while supporting families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

She provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, BC. Yu Cen is proficient in both English and Mandarin.

Faith Yuen, MSC RSLP(C) - SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Faith provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver and Burnaby, BC. She provides therapy in the areas of speech sound disorders, developmental language delays, pragmatics/social communication, narratives, literacy, phonological awareness, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Faith has experience working with preschool and school-age populations in public and private settings with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, among other diagnoses. 

Faith’s approach to therapy is client-led and play-based. She is passionate about continuous learning and values implementing evidence-based and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. Faith enjoys collaborating closely with families, schools and multi-disciplinary teams.

Charlotte provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, B.C. She values a play-based, child-centered approach while supporting families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She enjoys working with young children and their families in early intervention, as well as school-age children, with a focus on social-emotional skills, expressive and receptive language, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).

Charlotte received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Hong Kong. She has experience with preschool and school-aged children in Canada and Hong Kong. She is proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Ariana Hernandez, MClSc R.SLP - SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Ariana received her Masters of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario. She is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care, family training and education, motor speech therapy, and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Ariana is dedicated to providing child-led intervention and believes in the power of play as a tool to grow communication. She has experience working with preschool and school-aged children in the areas of social communication, language, speech sounds and AAC. She also has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other diagnoses. Ariana is committed to creating personalized sessions for each client she works with and implementing plans for care that highlight individual strengths.

Jess provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, BC. Her primary clinical interests include supporting preschool, school-aged children, and young people with social communication, expressive and receptive language, and speech sound difficulties. She also has a special interest in the assessment and implementation of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). She has gained valuable experience in the UK within public schools and specialist settings, utilizing her skills and knowledge in child psychology to support clients with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental language disorder and speech sound disorders. She provides a holistic, child-centred therapy approach, considering the strengths, needs, interests and preferences of the client and their family. She enjoys working closely with families and schools, focusing on developing functional skills and generalizing them into everyday contexts, aiming to provide clients with meaningful communicative experiences.

Rachel (she/her) provides speech and language services in Vancouver, B.C. Rachel has a strong foundation in communication sciences, having studied linguistics and psychology before receiving her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Rachel enjoys providing neurodiversity-affirming and client-led care to children of all ages.

Rachel has valuable experience working in private practice and school environments. She is committed to providing services that honour the individual experience and cultural and social considerations.

Sinéad Harris- Communication Health Assistant

 Sinéad provides therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, B.C. Her interests include working with preschool and school-age children, with a focus on articulation and phonological therapy, the social use of language, narratives and executive functioning. Sinéad primarily works with students who have difficulties in articulation and phonology of speech, autism spectrum disorder and those with social communication deficits.

 Sinéad has valuable experience using the Social Thinking™ approach to help students successfully and confidently navigate their social world. She is also passionate about providing experienced-based learning opportunities in the acquisition of functional language with her students.
